We’re thrilled to have Jan Frodeno as Fuelin's Chief Performance Officer. Widely recognized as the GOAT of triathlon, Jan is an Olympic gold medalist (Beijing 2008), three-time IRONMAN World Champion, and two-time IRONMAN 70.3 World Champion.
How it started
In the months leading up to the PTO U.S. Open World Champs in Milwaukee, Jan, then 42, reached out to Fuelin Co-Founder and Chief Nutrition Officer Scott Tindal to optimize his fueling strategy for peak performance. They worked together privately, fine-tuning every aspect of his nutrition plan to match his training and recovery.
The result was a stunning victory in a head-to-head battle against Kristian Blummenfelt, Norway’s Olympic and World Champion, who at 29 was thirteen years younger—proving that elite fueling and recovery can keep athletes at the top of their game well into their 40s and beyond.
After that success, Jan officially joined Fuelin, bringing his experience, precision mindset, and competitive insight to help shape the evolution of our product.

Jan contributes directly to Fuelin’s mission to make elite-level nutrition accessible to every athlete and directly shapes the product. He also co-hosts the Fuelin Sessions Podcast with Scott Tindal, where they share lessons on performance, longevity, and fueling smarter.
